Dhamma for Lifestyle (16)

Power of Merit
Merit is like a boat and demerit resembles a stone.
Whether a stone is small or big it will sink when it drops into water.
Similarly, demerit, whether it is small or big, it will surely leads to Apaya, unless there is a boat of merit as a base.
If there is merit, at least one can reach to deva realm.
Because of its stronger power, merit can send to better existences, though it is lesser than demerit.
