n the four paragons of womanhood; namely (i) အမရာ wife of the Bodhisattva during his existence as the wise warrior king မေဟာသဓာ and who herself was renowned for her perspicacity, courage and integrity; (ii) စႏၵကိႏၷရီ wife of the Bodhisattva during his in carnation as စႏၵကိႏၷရာ (see also ကိႏၷရာ) celebrated for her unwavering fidelity to her husband even after king ျဗဟၼဒတ္ slew her husband and offered to make her his queen; (iii) မဒၵီေဒဝီ the gentle wife of the Bodhisattva during his incarnation as king ေဝဿႏၲရာ who after her husband had to abdicate the throne for his untrammeled charity, dutifully shared his trials and tribulations; and (iv) သမ႓ဴလ loyal wife of the Bodhisattva during his incarnation as the leper prince ေသာတၳိေသန.Posted by Nyan U
